We offer a premium bespoke service giving our customers unique access to buy from Japanese Car Auctions. Our customer first approach means that we aim to find you the best car possible for your money and will take care of everything from discussing your budget and requirements through to delivering the car to you in the UK.

Although we deal mainly with European cars we can source anything from a Toyota Prius to a Skyline GTR as well.

Our process starts by discussing your needs and budget with you, we will then carry out some research on recent auction sales in Japan to confirm the specification and price we can aim for.

Once you are happy to go ahead we ask you to e-sign our terms of business (this is done online for convenience) and pay us a small deposit of £400 which can be made using credit or debit card.

The deposit forms part of the purchase price of your car when we buy one on your behalf, it is fully refundable anytime should we not find you a car. Our service also includes the time taken to discuss your requirements with you, searching for cars, investigation of vehicles on request and placing the bids in Japan on your behalf.

Prior to entering bids on any car we will agree a maximum OTR (on the road) price for the vehicle (once hand-over has taken place in the UK). We will require a 50% payment of the agreed OTR price (minus the £400 deposit) once we have purchased your vehicle in Japan so that we can arrange inland transport, de-registration and shipping, this payment will be required within 3 working days of notification that we have purchased your chosen vehicle. Late payments will be subject to a £150 surcharge.

At the point of purchase in Japan the £400 deposit will become non-refundable as this covers the time/cost of Cars from Japan Ltd in searching out vehicles and assisting as required in the process up to that point and also the costs of marketing the vehicle for sale in the UK as we will be forced to take ownership of the vehicle.

Once your car arrives in the UK it will be collected from port, have all necessary testing (MOT/ IVA if required) carried out, have an oil and filter service and have any conversion work carried out, for example speedometer converted to MPH and entertainment and navigation systems converted to UK/EU spec. We will register the vehicle on your behalf, carry out an oil & filter service, fit number plates and issue a 6-month warranty upon completion. Your car will also come with 6-months road tax.

Full payment of the agreed OTR price will be paid by you on or before collection/delivery of your vehicle.
